When I start up the engine in my 87 Vette, if I don't give it a bit of gas when the engine engages either when cold, or warmed-up, the Service Engine Light comes on, and the OBD reading is 36. I don't have the cat on the car and the exhaust is Dynomax. Any ideas as to why the light comes on. Thanks.

36 is for Mass Air Flow sensor. Either you not get 12v to the sensor or it might need replacing.[8D]
