Hi,
I'm looking at a 1984 Vette and the passenger side headlight doesn't open when you turn on the lights.Is there a way to manually open it?There isn't any owner's manual with the vehicle and the dealer knows nothing about it either.

Hi cotterj and welcome to the forum, I not sure but I think there is a **** that you can turn to get the headlight up. The problem with the dealerships is that then don't see many Vettes and when they do they want to "Test Drive" it to see if that makes the light go up! Most of the catalog companys have reprints of owners manuals. PG.

Open the hood and you will see it attached to each of the headlight motor assemblies.

 

If you're LOOKIN' - haven't bought yet - a headlight ain't a deal-killer.

Take your time lookin' it over!!! With gas and the economy as it is right now, IT IS A BUYER'S MARKET. Buyers with cash are boss. In 4-5 months, gas might be down, and cash might be flowin' fast = seller's market.
