93 c4 lti won't start.
Ok I have a problem w/distributer acording to codes have narrowed down to bad distributer or bad connecter. Just b4 vehicle wouldn't start noted dripping from water pump area could this mean remove distributer cap and rotor dry out dolve problem or is a replacement of entire distributer necessary? I have not even started to remove distributer, as it appears I must remove waterpump also. Is it possible to remove cap w/o removing waterpump? Do you also need to pull harmonic balancer to remove distributer?
Your going to have to remove a lot more than the water pump to get at the Optispark distributor. If you have had coolant leaking on the Opti then more than likley (which might as well be definetly) your going to need to replace it. Not just do a cap and rotor. You might as well put a new water pump on why your there. Now would also be a good time to to the plug wires too.
I have 41000 miles on it just replaced plugs and wires, just as I thought probably replace w/p and hoses while pump is off. Primary concern is there room to replace w/o pulling harmonic balancer.
