SYMPTOMS
1-Battery dead
2-Interior lts stay on
3-Remove fuse for interior lights then horn stays on.
4- Remove fuse for horn.
5-Problem solved.

Have had the car for 2 years.
Before this latest problem:
1- From time to time the horn would not work if steering wheel was turned
2- Digital speedometer would stick time to time. Bang on dash wit fist would fix
3- Beep horn without ignition on, the security alrn goes on at the same time
Not sure if some or all of this stuff is related
I do have the shop manuals. Before I die into that, I was hoping someone would have some insight?

To me it sounds like you have a short in your wiring. You need an Ohm meter and you know which circuits you pulled the fuses in, that's where I'd start.

 

Thanks. Gonna wait or this weather to break a little. Right now the battery is not dying withy the 2 fuses pulled. I have a basic understanding of electric. But now sure how to start with the diagnosis. Use an ohm meter where? On the in and out terminals of the fuse holder?

 

ZFound battery dead yesterday even with the 2 fuse pulled, LHinterior lts and horn. So i removed the other hatch lts and any other interior lt fuses. Jumped the battery and let run.

Anyone know of a good auto electric guy on Long Island?
