i recently purchased a 95 corvette with an auto transmission.. my problem is this..when i put it into overdrive or drive to take off it acts like it is stuck in a higher gear and there is no drop in rpm,s at any speed... but when i drop it down in low or 1 and take off it has the power it should and as i gain speed slip it into 2nd it doesnt change gears but after putting it up in drive or overdrive it does shift. and at 55 mph im around 2000 rpm,s ..any ideas or tips would be greatfully appreciated. and my tranny fluid looks and smells fine and is full.

couldnt figure out why my 1995 corvette seemed to act like it was stuck in third gear?? no take off at all and rpms never changed just slowly went up to 2000 rpms when at 55 mph......update..found a fuse panel and checked every fuse..found one that was blown..so took another 10amp fuse from another location and put in that spot..was hoping it would fix my problem of the power antenna just stop working..so put the fuse in turned on the key and still no power antenna?????but the spot that had the blown fuse for somthing to do with my transmission shifting and having passing gear....so now it is fine shifts great and shifts when is is supposed to...wow what a difference in power and fuel saving. thanks for everyone that looked at my post...but i did not get any help..so wanted to post this in case someone else had the same problem.

hello on my 95 vette the power antenna just stopped coming up????i went thru the book that comes with the vette and nothing about power antennas...so i went to autozone and purchased a corvette manual and to my surprise that book does not say anything about a power antenne at all.... so im stuck listening to only one station untill i get the problem fixed or listen to a cd...i have not found 1 fuse that includes or mentions a power antenna...so i am at a lost on how to correct the problem...PLEASE HELP ME...
