Default 96 power steering pump r&r

Looking for tips on pump removal and reinstallation. Haynes manual is not very graphic on the subject. what needs to be removed first to gain access to the pump? Oh yeah, 96 LT-1. I did a search here, but didn't find what I was looking for.

Thanks, Curt

The serpentine belt would help for beginners . After that, i would move to the alternator and the A/C Compressor. Then remove the Air Coupler and the MAF sensor just for better all around access. That is about as far as i got when i did mine and then i just paid a mechanic that lives two doors down from me 50 bucks and he finished it for me lol. I just got lazy i guess. And the fact that the only time i was working on it was at night and it was about 40 degrees outside so i just lost motivation. But good luck and i might take another look tonight to see what else could be in the way.

Matt
