Default Air vents for hood

I found some air vents for the hood bout 6" by 6" squares matches the hood when painted.....Im getting my front end redone and repainted.Im going for the gills near the top of the hood because they ARE functional and it will help cool under the hood and still look unique....Also like the "Stalker" bumber but 800 dollars is not worth it! So whats everyones opinion on those vents helping out the temperatures underneath the hood? If I could find some good used hookman headers and get them jetcoated that supposedly helps underneath temperatures as well...Just a thought for later down the road...Make it breath better and lower temps=Good in my opinion...

Oh yea, Ecklers sells them. You have to have the squares cut out in the hood and they lay in there.
