Default Alcohol in gas.

Hi all,

What gas company has the lowest percentage of alcohol to run in an L98 engine? Just looking for suggestions for the best fuel to run with out too high of alcohol content that will cause problems.

First check your laws, many states require them to post on the pump the ethanol content,if your state doesn't then I guess you'll have to check with the company. E10 probably will not hurt anything but your mpg. Around here it's getting VERY difficult to find anything other than E10 and it's good for about 5% lower mpg in everything I drive. When it goes to E30,then I will be up the proverbial tributary without means of locomotion, several of my bikes can't handle it while E10 doesn't hurt 'em. If you find anything really definitive on this, please share,I'm certain most of us are interested.
Thanks!
Ron

It's ironic, isn't it? I spent a lot to add ethanol injection to my supercharged 7-liter C5 to add another 50 HP or so, and yet some cars can't abide it. I had a '04 Porsche that really didn't like E15 but would tolerate E10 -- barely. My Lincoln and Aston don't seem to mind, and that impresses me about the Aston, since it is getting over 100 HP per liter NA.
