with the 160 t-stat it would run about 185/87, but from what I understand these engines "like it hot". now I'm curious about the rearend gears. i just thought the mileage was normal. When I got it I drove it from Albany NY to Dickson TN. 1158 mls, and used @35-36 gal's of gas. I was lovein' it. Crusin with the top off at 75-80 mph. just hummin along.

You must have a 2.38, or a 2.73 rear, at the highest. Which means no acceleration,but a 180top end.
