Hi all, I don't have my Vette very long, but the other day I noticed that when you open the door and the car is running I hear arelay click and the interior lights flash on and off. Is this normal ??? I still need to bring it to Chevy, its running alittle rough. The other day I lost power, and it was popping through the throttle body. I let the car sit overnight. And it ran better the next day. This morning it ran like a scolded dog, but when you sit at a light it idles alittle rough.... Any thoughts???

 

Hello my friend.You know,one slim possibilty could be your door ajar switch,the one that's on the side by the hatch release.It could be getting worn.I had a similar problem with my '96 and after I replaced it,everything went back to normal.But the again,you may have a slight electrical glitch.Anyway,I hope you get it fixed.

 

Its funny you said that. Over the weekend I replace the hatch gas struts.. I had a hard tome closing the hatch after I installed them. So I put one of the old ones back on to make it easier. Possibly its not making full contact with the switch.
