Hifolks. I have an '86 that I'm I stalling a new A/C compressor. I need to know how much r12 oil goes into the compressor and also how much r12 refrigerant. Thanks in advance.

 

6 to 8 ounces of mineral oil, if it had R-12 before there is likely a small amount of oil left in it. 2.5 to 3 pounds of R12. You can check a shop manual to be more precise. There was a information sticker on the heater blower housing at on time with that information, but they do fall ofF.
