Car cranks but won't start
Can someone please help?
'85 vette w/35k miles. I periodically would start/ take for a spin to keep parts lubed. Car would sputter, but assumed it was old gas. Then day came when it would crank but not start. Replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel relay is okay, removed water in tank, but it still cranks but will not start. Gave it new gas. No error messages. Other than working on the fuel injectors, is there something else to try first? If it does come down to the fuel injectors, should cleaning be good enough? Everything looks brand new on the car, but the fuel filter wasplugged. Is it something a handy person can do or leave for the pros??? Please don't laugh. I don't like car problems...

Welcome to the site teamodeee. A spark ignition engine needs only four essentials to to run, fuel, spark, oxygen (air), compression. It sounds like you covered most of the fuel possibilities but here is an easy test. While someone cranks the engine from the drivers seat another should spray starting fluid (either) into the throttle body. If the engine starts and runs while ingesting either and dies when you stop spraying then you need to keep looking for the reason it's not getting fuel. If it does not try to start on the either then I would focus on spark next. Give it a try and get back to us.
Welcome to the boards!
Why did you replace the pump? What were the pressure readings? Static (motor off), idle with vacuum off of FPR, idle with vacuum ON FPR, and pedal down pressure (gauge taped to the windshield).
