Bought 1987 Coupe about 4 yrs ago. Frequently car would time out and not start-nothing ,4mins would pass-VATS problem, and then start once 4 mins were up. Car failed to start about 2 months ago, great they can trouble shoot, found a code that indicated the ignition switch. Dealer replaced ignition switch for $424 and for 30 days the world was great. This time the car would crank but no ignition. Had car towed to dealer, the thing started. They kept the car for 4 weeks trying the ignition several times daily, no failed start. Once they said it did not start but when attempted again it started. Does anyone have an idea of where to start or had similar experience?!

 

i have that problem now but I think it my injectors I going though them now to see if any are grounded that will cause them to all stop workingi hope this helps

 

Check your fuel pressure, my ex's car had a similar issue where it randomly wouldn't start. When all was said and done it turned out to be the fuel pump.
