My 1992 LT1 Auto is throwing code 36. I followed The FSM flow chart & it's conclusion is Opti or it's connection. Is there anyone who has had the same code & the issue was actually something else? I read another post that suggested checking the coil wire, which I will swap with a diffrent one. I just don't think the book is pointing me in the right direction.
Why, you ask... Car starts, idles for a minute or two normal RPM's, then starts to bog or sometimes surge before it stumbles & then dies. Starts right back up. The opti is less than a year old.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
