Default Confusion Reigns!!!

Hi, all I have searched the Forms, I get conflicting information. Where is the Starter Enable Relay on a 1994 Corvette coupe Basic Automatic? Please help. I do not know where to find it. Thanks in advance.

From what I can tell it's under the kick panel under the steering column, back behind the finned aluminum thing, under the steering column. I would look there first.

Man did I miss it!! Thinking it was the relay, seeking and prepared to replace. Instead, the new battery was bad. The parts store was very helpful in making the exchange.

Easy fix. Very unusual to hear of a bad new battery that's bad and made it to the shelf.Quality control I guess.

I had it happen to me once back in the '70s. Bought a new battery and put it in my '73 and drove home. Came back an hour later and the battery was deader than a hammer.

It's possible, I have never had that happen. I have bought many batteries over the years for cars pickups, tractors and trucks and have not found one. I had batteries that only last a year or two, that's common. And I hate the fact when you buy a battery from a store they always put the oldest batteries out in front to sell first, makes sense so if its possible always check the date code and Grab the rear battery from the shelf, it's is likely to be the newest.
