Replacing Starter

RE: Replacing Starter
Make sure the starter that comes out is IDENTICAL to the one your are going to put in. A buddy tried to replace his and the new starter was "slightly" different. He ended up taking back that starter and bought one from another auto parts store that fit.
The mounting face on the starter was almost the same, but not quite right.

Hey black & tan, make sure to disconnect the cables from the battery before you wrench on the starter, you could do some serious arc-welding otherwise.
