I'm not very sharp around this stuff,I'm stuck in the carburetor days.but...................... if I were to guess I would think you're not getting power to the injectors? Don't somebody make a gadget that plugs in there somewhere and blinks when the injector gets a signal? Could this be done with maybe a dvm?My 84 had the "dies" for awhile and then would start right back up. After this act for a few times it wouldn't start back up. I replaced the ECM which I had got off fleabay and that was the end of the problem,it's been a couple of years now. There were other issues prior to the final "die" and no trouble codes so I was pretty sure the ECM was on it's way out. Good Luck!

First you need to check to see if you have power to the 2 injectors. Since you have spark, that means the ECM is seeing a pulse from the ignition module. You either have no power to the injectors or lost the ECM.

Default Electrical Fuel Problem

You might want to check the fuses for the injectors first. Sounds strange that both are out at the same time but it may indicate a common problem.
