The only thing I would try would be to jumper 12 volt straight to the fan after removing the existing connector so you don't back feed into some other circuitry.

PS: punctuation makes things easier to understand.

Default Fan

What i did was to add wire and a relay.
solder a wire to the compressor 12v wire, then coat that with gasket sealant like “the right stuff” or ultra black.
on the power steering reservoir, there is a clamp around the middle.
change the screw, and mount a black 30 amp relay with the relay tab, then put the wire u just made to one of the the relay coil blades.
then ground the other coil blade.
Then add a # 12 gauge wire to the alternator battery stud.
make it 6” long and splice in a fuse holder that can handle 30 amps. Put in a 15 amp fuse. (The fan will use 12-13 amps but with electrical, overkill works a long time.) Then Add enough wire so u can put that to one side of the relay contacts (power).
then the last Lug of the relay, put it to the fan 12 v input.
then ground the neg side of the fan.
So when air is on, fan is running.
so if your wires short out or fan siezes, it just blows fuse.
