gas make car run ruff?
I have a 95 c4 with 94000. it has had new plugs and wires and optispark cap replaced. I filled the tank about a month ago and have only driven the car sparatically. Tonight I took the car to the store and it started to idle rough at the traffic light. Will taking the car for a ride so 60 miles or so clear the rough idle up?

Are the new plugs a colder series than the ones replaced. If not, I would first try taking it on the highway and jumping on it to see if it clears plugs. If it still idles rough, you may have a problem with your valve seals or rings. If it smokes when you first start it up, it may be your valve seals. If it runs rough when at a stand still, it could be rings.

the vette was running great with the tune up done. just starting running run. I am thinking it is because it does not get driven much and the gas is close to a month old.
what do you think?

Hello,my friend.I might agree with cobralee. You must always put the proper plugs in your car, heat range, and all that happy stuff.HOWEVER,every now and then you may get some bad gas;it will clear off as long as your car has been properly serviced. With your mileage, you say you've done some maintenance? How far have you gone?Do you think maybe your injectors are clogged to a point where either you may have to service or replace them?Is your car properly tuned?Maybe you may need to replace your fuel filter.Has your car "behaved"(like any 2 year old)any better?Just to make sure, check your fuel system, but if all's well, then maybe you just got a load of dumb gas.It DOES happen. But just make sure you put PREMIUM!!!! Our cars call for it!!! They deserve nothing less.LONG LIVE THE C4!!!! Your friend,Joe.
