What year model? Could be the isolation relay or the headlamp switch. [8D]

It's an 1989 coupe.I took the headlight switch apart to check for corrosion or burn marks but it looked good.I did not know if the headlight actuator module has gone bad because after raising the headlights manually they lower fine by the switch.

Had the same problem with my '89 coupe. Needed to have the headlight motor rebuilt. There's a guy on ebay who will rebuild yours for about $50 if you ship it to him. Works like new now. Good luck

MECH259, I've been meaning to ask you about these headlight operating problems. It took me three years to learn that when you turn out the lights on my 87 Vette, I had to gently push in the **** of the switch further, after turning off the lights,to get the headlamps to go down into the body of the Vette. I have to do this procedure all the time; is this normal for all Vettes, or simply the switch I have in my Vette?

Mine doesn't do that, it must be the switch. [8D]
