well looky here young man if you love the car than you didnt get a bad deal , i am the king when it comes to paying to much which also makes me an authority on turning a lemon into lemonaide. my services are probably way out of your price range especially if you had to borrow money to buy the car. HOWEVER!
since i was 16 and broke with a car that needed everything but me ill tell you what ima gonna do. you make a list and post it and ill see what i got and maybe christmas will come early this year. nobody likes my cars when i drag em home either but when there finished their willing to trade their wives for them so dont get discuraged.

 

i agree bill fix the one you got it dont cost that much for gears and the bronze last forever.

 

[sm=boosign.gif]This is wayyyy going wrong. Bad idea to get the first vette he saw??? I looked at a couple ewww, ewww, ewww, then I found mine. It looked good, but it was and still is a SEMI lemon but its old and everything was original. I have put 35,000 miles on it in the past year and a half. I have replaced sooooo much. Me and my dad do the labor. FYI, im 18. Got my first vette when I was sixteen. It got totaled by a DUMB@$$ but then I got this one....So I am/was in the same boat as you........Anyway. I have been giving alot of spare stuff that I have replaced, upgrades or just got tired of to a friend who has a 86 which is what I have. I believe you have a 85? If you need something let me know and I can sift around in the garage for excess parts I have. I am hoping to get in the motor soon as daddy says we can start looking for a cam to put in........Most of the guys on here are helpful but the few that say.......stupid remarks such as you dont deserve the car your to young blah blah blah....In one ear, out the other......Goodluck.
