Default Hi Speed Vibes!!

Getting vibration above 80 mph. Doesn't go away at 95. Doesn't get worse or better either. I think u joints would show up sooner. wheels are balanced. That would come and go depending on speed I think. Wheel bearing? Any ideas appreciated. Dave

most wheel balancers are calibrated to balance in 1/4 oz incerements they are not good for high spped check with a company that can balance to the gram its much more accurate at high speed. also could be a tire tread condition, how old are the tires?

Stick-on lead falls off.

Get them re-balanced, with lead put on a CLEAN wheel, and put duct tape over the lead.

you can try to get the old style lead weights, the new weights are not lead they are phasing lead out because of health concerns the new weights do work well if done properly any GOOD tire shop can do the balance

Thanks for thoughts on this. I had wheels balanced on state of the art hi speed balancer. New tires about 3,000 miles. Will get them balanced again. Could have lost a weight. Dave
