ignition wire arcing
spark plug wires started arcing.....wire to block...wire to valve cover....
replaced twice with new acdelco 618w...
still arcing.....any ideas on what else could be causing this arcing?
no arcing when cold....arcing starts after operating temp is reached....rough idle but steady
replaced plugs,wires,cap roter,o2 sensor,fuel pump,fuel filter,tried different coil,fuel pressure 39 psi
runs fine accelerating, any gear....seems to miss at steady speed say 10mph in 1st
no codes are being set...checked ECM by unplugging TPS...check engine light comes on...
code 22 set....

Where are they arcing to? Valve cover, cylinder head, manifold? If they are arcing at the plug boots, you need to use a dialectric compound in the plug boots for insulation when you install on spark plugs. [8D]
Possibly, but my A/C Delco wire are loomed right against aluminum valve covers and I am gettin no arc. At night you will see some glow at times around spark plug boots, especially in pitch black. Sometimes, not always.
