irratic engine problem

RE: irratic engine problem
Code 16 is an opti code. I would clear codes and run it and see if it comes back. Since you have the Delteq this could be why its throwing that code. I don't know enough about Delteq to know the answer to this.

A little known fact about the Delteq is it is more sensitive to Opti-Spark scatter due to crankshaft, and through the timing chain, camshaft torsional vibration. This torsional vibration is realized even more with the Opti-Spark's 1 degree of crankshaft resolution. And, since the Delteq has to compute everything. unlike the stock Opti-Spark that does not have to compute the cylinder firing order that is maintained by the cap and rotor. This causes the Delteq to be more prone to torsional vibration (not to be confused with balance).
So, without a sufficient damper on a high-output high-revving engine, the Delteq may experience problems that aren't seen with the stock Opti-Spark.

I found out from experience that if you turn your back on the engine, have the plug in the socket so the rubber holds it you can get it started. You also must loosen up those two lines that go up and down too. Now I need tackle the left bank, it looks even worse.
