i have floe master delta series,and they say they are not to loun in and out of the car. bull crap, i can heare them in the car with no problem, dont get flow master .unless you like noise.i had some afterburners on my 69 vette .they were good not to loud and for 40.00 bucks a muffler to.i am thinking of taking off my flows .they are very loud.and i think in a vette should be quiet and smooth with a little rumbbbbbbbbble.

'96 6spd isn't an LT1. It's an LT4.

 

Ive read a lot of forum posts about exhaust, and people had said completely different things in every single one of them. for a mild tone, flowmaster 50s, magnaflow, and corsa seem to be the most consistant recommendations.

As far as other aftermarket mods, 4.10 gears will really unleash the high RPM power that your lt4 has. Dont forget headers. Hotcam is very popular, but wont do you much good with the current gears
