New fuel pump, now bogging sometimes
I put in a new fuel pump as an upgrade, and maybe it was too much for the stock LT1 w/ CAI?
It ran strong the first day, then the second day it bogged a little bit during idle and acceleration, and now the third day Ive driven it since the replacement, and it drove great for 20+ miles to my destination, then it sat for a few hours, and on the way back it bogged down alot for like 3/4 of the drive back. To try and remedy the problem Im going to order a new fuel pressure regulator now and see if mine has gone back in 30 years of life.
This is the pump that I installed:

Well so much for upgrades. Looks like a good pump, A lot of old fuel pumps go bad because of a bad fuel filter that should be replaced with a new fuel pump. There should be a schrader valve on the fuel rail to check fuel pressures, I would hook up a remote gauge to the fuel system and watch it while you drive and see what it's doing. A fuel regulator could be going bad,It does sound like it's running out of fuel for some reason. Make sure all the wiring connections are tight and has a good ground.
