Default Pulling the trigger

I am looking to pull the trigger on my first Vette. It is a 1990 in immaculate condition. Engine has been completely overhauled, interior reworked, and is currently in the body shop having a chip repaired. Owner has made me a really nice offer. It is the color and interior I want. Question is this, every model has it's little clicks, what should I look for in a 1990 coupe? Are there any special areas I need to look at before pulling the trigger? Any special warnings I need to pay attention to? Any advice from the C4 owners I can get?
I have wanted a Vette since I was a teen ager, before I could even drive. I am now 52 years old and finally in a position to do it. But I do not want to let my desire blind me to making a wise decision. Help a guy out if you will .....

Proof for any work done would be nice to see.
As with any car look for any leaks, are the tires worn uneven (front and rear)? Do the doors easily close tight, do the windows rattle when partly rolled down? Look for any dents in the exhaust system, frame, tranny and engine pans. Follow behind as the owner drives it, does it "dog track" or does it travel straight? Does it pull to one side when braking? Does the brake pedle "pump" (move up and down) while braking? Push on each corner and pay attention to shock/spring responce, she shouldn't bounce more than once.
Well, there's a few things to look at.
Good luck, hope she proves out.
