Default Question about replacing right exhaust manifold, 1995

When I bought my '95 vette the right (passenger side) exhaust manifold and re-circulation line, coming into the top of it, appeared to have been goobered at one time and has some sealant covering it. After two years of patently waiting my local junk yard got a vette in with those parts, whooo hooo for me, right. When pulling the parts I noticed that the dip stick tube is a MFer. Fortunately, I didn't care much about the junk yard tube and did whatever I needed to do to get what I wanted. Now as for doing this work on my car... Do any of you have any experience dealing with this and have any tips? Should I just plan on replacing the dip stick tube? If that is the case, do you have a recommended source? Also if that is the case, should I tap the tube out from the oil pan side, and replace the oil pan gasket at the same time?

Thanks!
