Hey guys,

I've pretty much bought all the parts for the restoration of my interior. However, I haven't addressed the cracked dash yet. I was just wondering if anyone has repaired a cracked dash? I've seen it being done on TV where the crack was filled with a bondo-like putty and was recovered with new vinyl. Has anyone tried this? I could also go the other route and replace it with a good used one but im afraid that it might crack again. Any thoughts ?

 

I would go with a good used one if the price was right. The repaired mark may crack down the road.[&:]

 

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The only thing is that they cost alot of $$$. Oh well, better start saving money.
