Replacing door lock cylinders

Default Replacing door lock cylinders
I bought new keyed lock cylinders from Eckler.
they came in pieces.
How does one hold the top key slot together while inserting the complete unit into the door handle... I’m baffled

i got it done. Just weird the way it gets put back together.
