Default soft ride '90

I decoded my option codes thanks to a hint from another post and the only surprise on my '90 was FE1,soft ride suspension.I have been considering some new monoleafs anyway but was wondering if someone could tell me just what "soft ride" is and how handling wise it compares to base and Z51 options. The car handles okay but my 95 formula inspires more confidence in the corners, the C4 feels a little numb but I am figuring it out.I do believe the off throttle oversteer I have read about is a possibility but haven't experienced it yet.The ride is great for a 17 year old car.My chiltons manual is not much help, time to buy a comprehensive Corvette book I guess.Any suggestions for aftermarket suspensions for daily driving and play would be appreciated, almost all I have seen seem to be the Vette Brakes (SSBC?) sport kit repackaged,I did their "sport" package on my 79 and loved it.

Your Vette should handle better than your Formula.

I think it does alright, just a different feel.10 years ago I'd been running each around the same corner with one eye on the speedo and one on the road, nowadays I just drive.
