No. That means the security system is enabled. The key reader that is built into the ignition switch is probably bad and not reading the proper resistance. There is a Pass Key bypass harness you can put in if you know the code for your key. Most locksmiths have a reader they can determine which code you have.

Got that. Good investment. Mine kept not reading the key. 25.00 from Midamerica. Ecklers has it also. [8D]

OK, when you say you have checked all the possiblities, what do you mean? Have you gone through the switch continuity check (cruise control switch), checked for voltage at the pin on the switch. There is also tests to actuate the cruise servo manually to see if it operates. Make sure you have a good vacuum source to the servo. There are several tests to perform which gets a little more complicated, to much to describe here.

okay, no, i havent gone through those test, i checked the fuse, and i checked the vacuum lines, all connected and in good condition. I was thinking that it was the servo, but i have not done the manual test that you were talking about, are there directions posted somewhere?
