Just had a long-distance inspection of a Vert for sale. X-frame is bent up and exhaust rattles against it and the car has to be on the level for the ragtop to go up easily. Is either a major concern, does the need to be level indicate body flexing or anything serious? Thank for your input.

That does sound major! The vettes have a lot of body flex, but it should not be nearly THAT severe!

 

I agree with Rustybluebeast....sounds like it is way out of wack....and sometimes you can't get it back to the right shape again.
