Oneday and$1,338.00 later I got a new Opti along with an infusion of Mobil 1 and filter. I have done an Opti on my T/A before and even though i9t isn't a "walk in the park" I would've tackled it on the Vette had I known that "was" the problem. With 7.5k on the odometer I was blown away to even think the Opti took a crap. If you know you need an Opti I would not hesitate doing it yourself. It isn't that bad as long as you have time to do it. If the Vette can be down for a weekend that should be more than enough timer to do the Opti, Water Pump, seals and while you are under there, wires, plugs and coil WTH...
