Default Why do my headlights open when I turn on my parking lights?

I have a 95 vette i just bought, and when ever I turn on my parking lights the headlights open up! The head lights do not come on unless I turn the switch to headlights. This is driving me Crazy!! Can anyone out there please enlighten me as to what I need to do.

well the first thing i would check is the light switch.it could be shorted out,it could have a short when you put on your parking lights and it by passing and turing on your head lights.if it not the switch check the relays for the lights, you can buy a switch at eckler corvvette or you local part store for around 20.00 dollars.[sm=signs003.gif]

Have to check the wiring schematic, but I think the light doors are controlled by body control module. Will check at my shop and post as soon as possible. [8D]

Thanks, I will check the relay, I was trying to remove the headlight switch but one I did not have a socket that had the walls thin enough to remove it... Thanks for the info
