On the rev limiter, my opinion is keep it where it is. If you're revving high enough to where you're banging the limiter then an extra couple of hundred RPM is only going to help you sling a rod or something. About the shift-points, sorry, don't know much about that, I've always had Sticks.

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for the info on the rev limiter setting. I think I will leave both of these (rev lim/shift pts) settings stock. As for an A4 vs. 6sp, I wanted a stick, but the clutch was so stiff and hard to press in, I thought that it would get to be a drag after a while. Besides my husband was against my getting a Z06 - said there would be too great a temptation to race it. I said, "Don't be ridiculous . . . of course I'm going to race it." Conversation ended . . . he won.
