Default Advice needed on repair/upgrades while subframe dropped

I have a leaking front main seal on the transmission and the dealership will have to drop the subframe to get to the engine and transmission, separate them and replace the seal. I am using a dealership for this because my understanding is this is quite easy to screw up, especially mounting the subframe back and getting it aligned correctly. I was quoted 12 hrs labor to replace the seal, and 2 hrs to do a 4-wheel alignment once the subframe is remounted for a total of approx. $1500 which I've been told is reasonable. My question is: while the engine and transmission are already going to be out, is there anything else I need to think about replacing or upgrading? This is a 2004 convertible with 52,000 miles.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

I had the same work on my car at the dealership for about the same price. I also had them do a drain/fill of coolant (should be done every 5 years).

Im sure they will have to drain and replace the power steering and brake fluids as well.

ya surely they will drain and then replace the power steering and brake fluids ,because power steering also consists of oil , so it has to be drained.

I'm not sure I follow you guys. This is a transmission fluid leak.

What we're saying is that as long as your car is at the dealership, you may as well have maintenance stuff like fluid changes done.
