RE: Alternator??
We had 10's routinely on maneuvers around Seymour Johnson, doin' touch n go's at Kinston NC. Now the same unit -ANG, I think, has a 135. I was on NC 58 a couple of weeks ago, foot of the strip, and the 135 was on approach. Went overhead at 60 ft.[sm=yikesomg.gif]You should hear those Pratt n Whitneys. Or are they GE turbofans? I need one. Can ya' get me one on the side?

Wehave CFM-56-2 motors (http://www.cfm56.com/index.php?level...level3=cfm56-2) they are a partnership of GE and Snecma....2 engine makers. CFM doesn't stand for anything.....GE called their engine lineup CF6's......Snecma called their engine lineup M56's.....so they put them together to make the CFM56 line of engines.

RE: Alternator??
sorry cwb.....got behind on my duties on here! Yes, the guy that did the roll was Tex Johnson...the chief test pilot for Boeing back in the day.....It was in Seattle...and he knew that all the major AirlineCEOs where on Mr Boeing'sboat.....so he did perfect 1G roll....photographers were notstrapped in...and never fell.....
It was the Optima battery that was the problem....must have been a defective cell in it....was only holding like 10% charge capacity.....got it exchanged for warranty.....everything is good to go now! Thanks for all your guys' help!
