I have the code for the cd player on my '99 corvette, but I typed in the code wrong a few times, and the result is that it is inop mode.

What can I do to return to lock mode?

Hi Zach, I checked out my shop service manual ( vol 3 of 3, page 8-489 ) and there is too much detail to cover here. Also, the shop manuals I have are for my '03 coupe which I imagine is the same for yours. If you can locate someone that has vol 3 like mine it will walk you through correction procedure. Your problem description is covered I believe. And another thought might be to go to the GM website where you might find those instructions.
