I just test drove a 2000 blue on black interior C5 with 38,000 miles. Sad thing was it was auto - i was really looking for a stick, but the power blew me away. I had no idea they were that fast!

 

I did the same thing man, I really wanted the stick shift, but whenI found my car it turned out it was an automatic. I figured there was no way I would want the auto, bit it is a beautiful car, supper fast, lots of power, and the price was right. I weighed all of the pros and cons, and went with the car even though it was an auto. It had so many things going for it that I could over look the transmission I wanted. A 2000 with 38,000 sounds good, if the price is right and the car is clean. Only you can pull the trigger.
