Corvette C5 Ticking Sound
Hello all!
My 99’ C5 started to make a weird ticking sound which seems like a valvetrain failure. I have not taken it to the mechanic yet, but have filmed the engine and uploaded the video online.
Anyone who might have any idea where the sound comes from?

Welcome to the forum.
I'd remove the valve covers and use a mechanic's stethoscope to see if I could isolate the noise. Also with the valve covers removed you can check individual push rods to see if they are all tensioned correctly.
