I recently changed the oil on my 2000 Corvette but i can't seem to reset the OIL life on the DIC display. How do i do that??

To reset the monitor after an oil change, turn the ignition on. Press the "TRIP" button so that the "OIL LIFE" percentage is displayed. Press "RESET" and hold it for two seconds. The word "RESET" should appear on the monitor, then "OIL LIFE 90%"

Also, you should be able to turn the ignition on...wait a couple seconds and pump the gas pedal 5 times to the floor...it will automatically reset your oil life to 100%. Standard on just about all GM vehicles.

to put aside any confusion don't start the car just in acc. mode or whatever. I wouldn't recommend pumping the gas 5 times to the floor with the car running, atleast if you baby your car 90% of the time like I do. lol peace
