The only Corvette owners that are over 40 have convertibles and never go above 1500 rpms.

My 59 year old ears love the sound of the LS1 pulling toward redline. [sm=gears.gif]

Yeah, I just act young (like a child, my wife says) I'm 58, and always felt it was the more experienced guys that did it right.

Corvettes are like those other wonderful, sexy things with lots of curves: the young guys really don't know how to handle them right.

Then I revoke my comment. Sorry, I just think that the old-fogeys don't like the cool stuff. My daddy is a hot rodder, well used to be kinda. He use to sling the car out of the neighborhood tires smoking and I loved it. Then about a year ago he started doing that stuff less and less until he just stopped. I figured it was just a thing of old guys and they thought that it was too dangerous and stuff like that. I talk about stuff like getting racing harnesses and stiffening the car and all that and he shoots that down quick now. Says it's pointless. O well, maybe he'll get out of this when he gets the Chevelle out of the body shop and sell it to get the money for the 'Vette he's talking about. I hope so, because I want a one-of-a-kind car. Anyway, sorry to all the geezers for offending you . But trust me, some of the young guns know how to treat 'em right. See ya at the next red light
