1.) Intake will get you a minimum of 10 and a max of 25 (with tuning) RWHP. The Callaway Honker is among the very best. It's 50-state legal and relocates the MAF to right in front of the throttle body. At $400-$500, it's not cheap. For $250 or so, the Halltech Stinger (huge air filter, airbridge, and smooth TB coupler) or Donaldson Blackwing (filter only) are decent buys, but are not CAIs. Fortunately, you can build your own Cold Air Intake system with either one by following my procedure here:
http://www.conceptualpolymer.com/corvette_c5_corner.htm
2.) 3.90 or 4.10 gears will bring you much better acceleration, although you're talking over $2000 to have someone do it for you.
3.) Long tube headers can be 30 HP adders, but are illegal in California, Shorties do virtually nothing so don't bother.
4.) An aftermarket cat-back is a must for that 60s sound. I prefer the Borla Stingers, but others that sound good include Magnaflows and B&Bs. HP increase may be a few and each costs $700-$1000.

Nah, that's too much. Check here for some decent prices:
http://www.corvettegarage.com/catego...e-exhaust.html
Sometimes, the install can double the cost, however.
