Loud mouths will be the loudest, followed by B&B Bullets, then Borlas, if you want loud then do H/C, long tube headers,no cats and Loud mouths, that will be loud

Default RE: question on exhaust

Is there one place in-particular that's cheaper than the rest for buying a new muffler system? I have a catback system w/an X-Pipe on mine right now, but I believe it's a flowmaster set-up. I was at the Flowmaster site tonight when I seen their version of the C5 mufflers w/tailpipes and they look exactly like what I have on my car. I've never seen the split-oval tips like they have on any other system before, although the previous owner claimed it was a Magnaflow system. (PHSH)

Now I understand why there's no one mentioning anything about Flowmaster systems on the newer vettes.......they sound like POOP!!!! I can't wait to replace mine with either the Borla or the Corsa set-up. So back to my original thought,......is there any place out there that's cheaper than W.C.C.?

You could try Corvette Garage, click here, or Mid America Motorworks, click here. I think those are the two cheapest places I've seen.

Thanks Bud!!!

After checking both sites, I think the "Corvette Garage" will be getting some business from me. They definitely have some of the lowest prices I've seen so far. I'm SOLD on the Corsa Indy/Pace system w/Tigershark Tips.

I think if I could get the Borla "Stinger" system with Tigershark Tips, that's the one I'd choose. The only problem is that I haven't seen any place where you can buy only the T.S. tips. I believe they only come with the Corsa complete systems. Oh well, I guess if you want something specific, you have buy what ever comes with it.

Thanks, I'm sure I will.

I was saying in my previous post that "Corvette Garage" had the lowest prices I could find on exhaust.........well, I was wrong! I decided to do a google search for both Borla, and Corsa catbacks, and after about 15 minutes of browsing, I found that "Auto Parts Warehouse" was actually the lowest priced.

I decided to go with Corsa because I love the "Tigershark Tips" ...........and, since the ONLY way to get those tips is to buy a catback system, I figured I might as well find the cheapest price. Auto Parts Warehouse was the winner at over $120.00 cheaper than the next lowest place I could find, which was $1,114.95 shipped. The Corsa website had this system for like $1344.00, and I ended up getting it for $994.00 through A.P.W. with free shipping.

It definitely pays to shop around!!!
