Recall C-5 2001 Steering Column
Hey Everyone need some advice on this recall.
I have a 2001 C-5 and I found out it has a steering column lock recall, garage time at Chevy dealership calls for 4 hours to repair.
Is this a necessary fix?
It looks like a lot of work and I really don't want my column removed for fear rattles may start.
Chevy said it could cause a collision if repairs aren't done.
What do you think, it's 19 years old with 37,000 miles and haven't had any issues at all.
