Default Should I buy this 1998 corvette?

This is my first time buying a car. I've sent numerious offers for this guy's corvette. Started at 10,000 and now ended up to 15 grand. Should I pay this much for his 1998 corvette coupe. How much do they normally sell for? Here are the specs of the car: 108,030 mileage..automatic...execellent condition...dvd/mp3/cd player...lambo doors...minor repairs needed (ac charged, and front brake pads).Any thing else I should ask the guy regarding the car? Is this a good deal or should I back out? I appreciate the help.

Look around this ones got to many miles on it.
You will be dropping a lot of bucks in parts and labor with this one.

I personally would never buy a car with that many miles. My '98 has under 31,000 miles on it currently and only had 22,225 when I purchased it less than 2 years ago.

I ran a Kbb comparison and came up with $15k for a vehicle in good condition (assuming a coupe with very little added). Comparitively I ran one with 30k miles and in good condition it came out at $19k. This sounds a reasonable deal and unless the engine has been abused, heavily modded or not maintained I would expect it to have a lot of life left in it. Try for $14k, I am sure you won't find one as cheap as this at a dealer.

Maybe neither. Let HIM sit on his offers. When they don't continue to rise, from anybody, then HE'LL come to YOU.

Then of course, who's in the driver's seat. And you're headed back down to 10k. Ebay calls it '2nd chance offers'.

I paid 15k for my 97 with 34k miles. Perfect condition, clean car fax, and tons of services records. She took great pride in her Vette and now it's all mine. Keep looking
