Soft rattle

RE: Soft rattle
Rita,
If it's an exhaust manifold leak, the noise frequency would rise when you rev in neutral. That is a simple test that you can do while the engine is cold. Otherwise, getting under the car and banging things around would be my first test.
Nice exhaust tips!

RE: Soft rattle
Thanks, Dave! It's in the service shop at the dealership today. (It's still under the original warranty.) I'm praying they don't do anything to mess-up my Vette. []
Can't wait to get my baby back home.
Take care,
Rita

RE: Soft rattle
Thanks everyone for your input and help. It turned out to be a loose exhaust hanger(s), not sure if it was more than one, and was a quick and easy fix. I am so happy the rattle is gone. Time to crank-up the tunes!!!
Thanks again, everyone.
p.s. I do have one complaint: They left it out overnight in the rain and didn't clean it before delivery. Keep in mind, I keep my Vette immaculate and NEVER drive it in the rain, so I was not happy. Guess I was just expecting too much.
