I just bought a 2003 50th Aniv. quicksilver Z06! I have been saving for awhile now, and the day has finally come. Its the first car I've purchased (I'm 20) and I know it will be a lot of fun. Does anyone have a recomendation on a car cover? Im looking for an all purpose cover. I live in CA so you imagine the weather. Your input is appreciated. THANKS!!

 

Well, congratulations. I keep my cars indoors so I don't have good experieince with car covers, but I do know you have choices. I'd recommend buying a cover from a reputable company: generally, those advertising in Motor Trends, Road and Track, Car and Driver and the like have been looked over a bit by those companies and aren't phony.

 

Westcoastcorvette.com has some good car covers.

 

I would recommend going to Madvet.com, because they actually give the covers they sell a rating system that should help with your decision.

 

congratulations! although I've been into cars for over 21 years and have owned all kinds of Chevys, my 01 Z06 is my first Vette too. I never thought i would own one (or could afford to) but one came along that was in my price range and i bought it. You're going to love it!
