2007 oil pressure pegged

Default 2007 oil pressure pegged
My stepson is about 20 miles away and the oil pressure needle in his '07 is pegged and the dash reads 180. Could it just be a sensor?

Default 2007 oil pressure pegged
I was wanting to replace my oil pressure sensor and was curious where it was located on the engine. I didnt spend much time looking for it, knowing you guys will help Thanks yall.GO BINDERS

Could be. Unplug the wire from the sensor and see what happens. If the gauge and the dash reading drops down it's the sensor.
